About Manhattan Bagel
Made the Right Way. Every Day. There's a reason our bagels taste different--they're made the traditional way. At Manhattan Bagel, we give each bagel a dip in a kettle of boiling water, then bake them fresh each morning. That's how we get our authentic shiny bagels with a crispy, golden crust on the outside and that soft, satisfying chew inside. No shortcuts. Just real, authentic bagels made the way they were always meant to be. We kettle-boil our bagels to lock in that shine and crunch, then bake them fresh daily for a chewy, golden bite. No shortcuts, just the classic NY method - done right, right here, every day.

Please DO NOT order the avocado bagel. The avocado they used is frozen, thawed out, cold, and barely smashed. I know this because I buy frozen avocado for smoothies. The bagel was warm and delicious, but the "smashed" avocado was cold and chunky and the texture firm and horrible. Not fresh avocado. I scraped all the avocado off and ate the bagel. Their bagels are perfect, amazing, phenomenal! If I would return, I would probably just get a bagel by itself. Place was clean. Service wasn't anything special. They seemed understaffed that day. It was probably 9-10am, and there were customers consistently coming in during the 30 minutes I was there.

Sausage, Eggs over easy and Cheese on an everything bagel toasted was Delicious! Reminded me of the bagels in New York! Highly recommend this place. If You Know You Know.

I have been coming here since they have opened. Some of the workers quickly learned my name and remembered my order. I switch it sometimes but itβs always a pleasure walking in and hearing βGood Morning Katieβ with a warm smile. The food is great and there are vegetarian options as well. Also a place you can order food for the kiddos. This location is sanitary and the bathrooms were clean and stocked. Definitely recommend this for a quick breakfast, brunch or lunch!!!

Before visiting Manhattan Bagel, I saw a review mentioning long wait times and poor quality. I decided to give it a try anyway. Unfortunately, my experience was even worse than expected. After placing my order, we waited 30 minutes before anyone acknowledged that something was wrong. Only then did they apologize and admit my order had never been made. They did comp the meal, which I appreciated, but when we opened the food, my breakfast sandwich was made incorrectly, missing the chive cream cheese, and was very light on ingredients overall. It just doesnβt stack up to the other bagel spots locally. To make matters worse, the fruit cup I got for my kids had mold in it. (Which we discovered after my kids already ate some of it) At that point, any chance of salvaging the visit was gone. Overall, this was a terrible experience from start to finish. Even though the staff did try to make it right by not charging me, the mistakes, poor quality, and food safety issue were unacceptable.

Just picked up 2 breakfast bagel sandwiches, and there was very little that was right about them. The crispy hashbrown and everything bagels I paid extra for, came as both plain bagels. There was a noticeable lack of smokehouse brisket, and zero eggs. I paid extra for cheddar... barely any on the sandwich. Added mayo for extra $... wasn't on it. And these sandwiches cost a whopping $10 EACH! Don't think I've ever been more disappointed in an order before. This was my first and last order here. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to 3 Men And A Bagel instead. 8/11/2025: Edit: After my review, I was called and given a refund, and told that my order was mixed up with someone else's. As promised, I tried them again today and the sandwiches were much better and accurate this time. I can't really say I felt it was worth $10, but the bagel was soft and it tasted good. The meat was a little dry like before, so I wouldn't order it again, but they redeemed themselves with good customer service.
